Christmas Market

Standard

on Sunday we decided to go the Christmas market in the middle of the city to check it out after church. it’s right in the middle of the old town square and 10 mins walk from where our church is.

when we got there, there were a lot of people, many stalls set up selling trinkets/souveniours and food. this market sells hot wine as well; i tried it during the coffee session after church, but it wasn’t really to my liking – too much spice for the kind of wine i prefer. there were other drinks as well, but we didn’t try them, maybe coz we don’t know what it is and if we ask, we don’t know if they’re able to explain it to us.

was really cold and windy that day. i took my gloves off so i can eat, but halfway through my food i wasn’t really able to really enjoy it coz my hands were freezing (i think my tongue was too ahhaha) so we thought we’d just go and finish it at home instead.

i think we should go another time again with warmer clothes esp for Arielle, and with a local friend so that we know what’s what… this Christmas market opens only during December from morning till evening everyday for 2 weeks (i think) till Christmas.
