With one month plus or so before we go back to Malaysia for our summer holidays, I thought maybe I’d write a post on Arielle’s vocabulary. Mind you, she knows more than she can speak, but it’s just so cute to hear her talk. Here’s a list of words that she is able to say very clearly as of today (some words needs to be coerced out of her):

Papa (daddy)

Mama (mummy)

Popo (grandma)

Tutu (grandfather; actually it’s kung kung, but for the life of me…)

Mum mum (eat)

Nenen (milk)

No

Mai (don’t want; hokkien)

Ai (want; hokkien)

Chotto (wait; Japanese)

Hai (yes; Japanese)

So des (that’s right; Japanese)

Car

Bike

Flower

Chu chu (train)

Tater (water)

Juice

House

Bee… bite

Pain pain

Bus

Wabbit (rabbit)

Bird

There!

Hi

Bye

Baby

I no nu (I love you)

Shoes

Shh…

Cheng Jacket (wear jacket; hokkien)

Reading the list of words that she can manage cannot begin to compare to listening to her say it. We hope that when you see her in Malaysia, you’ll be as charmed as we are 🙂

See you in July!!

P/S: Oh, she can also say ‘SEX’!!! But that means lights in her language.
